I moved officially in September to a small village called Ruckhall which is just outside Hereford. I still spend a lot of time 'back in the ole' country' as I like to call it as my kids (though aged 17 and 19) and parents are still there plus as I said my workplace.
One thing I have noticed is that when I comment that 'it was just as well the village didn't start with an 'f' everyone looks at me a bit like "he's mad"
