I've just seen... Page 218
Yes, it was a silly ending. But I don't mind a happy ending now and again.
Jake's ace.

Fair comment. But how nice was it to see some decent hard sci-fi? No chestbursters, no black helicopters, no The Man...
It was very well made, yes, and it was nice to see some of the 'stars' bite the big one early on.
Children of the Corn. Not quite the classic I remembered from my youth, actually quite poor, but it has a certain hokey charm.
Oh! I saw 127 Hours.
It was long.

Amelie. Lovely, lovely, lovely
Anybody seen The Aristocrats? Saw it today in a charity shop and wondered if it's worth getting? (I've hidden it behind some Wilbur Smiths just in case it is)

It would make for a better one-off TV show than a feature film I think, but it's definitely worth a watch for the sheer number of comics involved, including the late George Carlin.
IIRC it's a bunch of comics wanking for a couple of hours only to find they should've read a book or something.
I saw it fairly recently and I don't remember anyone masturbating. Perhaps you're thinking of something you saw on the internet, Nil?
Maybe so, I'm easily confused.
I didn't find it funny though. Long maybe. Boring yes. But not funny.

I found it boringly hilarious.
'Different horses' and all that.
