What (I think) I meant is that wind is a consequence of atmospheric pressure gradients and they mostly determine what weather happens where. So no wind = no pressure differences = no high pressure sunny, hot weather/no low pressure cold, rainy weather.

Well okay, so we need some wind, especially up high to move the clouds and shit.
So, (slightly) more accurately: gale force wind that blows me over and makes my hair all tangly and blows rain in my face, is my most unfavouritest weather.
