I think it's time you switched your allegiance to Peter Kay, zooo. It'll be less stressful in the long run.

Chipolata makes a decent point.

I'm not sure they are.

Have you started eating red meat or something?
You practically nutted someone in a thread the other day.
We do the angry, twisted stuff.
And I'm sorry our criticism didn't make you laugh. But we know you have Ricky for that.
Lol, how was that an angry, twisted comment?
It was meant in a lightly teasing way. I guess I should crack open the emoticons more.
Don't find this funny at all.(ratings seem to prove my point). Unfortunately, Ricky Gervais is laughing all the way to the bank!

Ah yes, ratings=critical acclaim, don't they. Which is why Mini mix are objectively better than Shostakovich.

I dunno, surely the low viewing figures will make people (commisioners) less enthusiastic about taking later projects.

Hope so, but he's already been paid for this rubbish!
Thought that last episode was relatively funny. Trying to impress the tall woman whilst on a date wasn't convincing then, though the thing with the tablecloth was borderline comedy genius. Full marks to Warwick there.
I think Warwick Davis is excellent in this, even if the scripts aren't top-notch.
I did laugh, but some scenes just feel too long: the medium, the maitre d', the 'rapist/racist' bit. Alright but could all be cut. Like 'Taxis, I was praying the women didn't hear the condom bit in the supermarket, as you do want Warwick to 'win' just once. It was funny till then but that kind of ruined it a bit.
Also like 'Taxis, the 'black men--people!' line was probably the best joke in the show.

It'll be interesting to see what HBO audiences make of it when it's broadcast in America. I don't think Ricky really cares what the Brits think of it, but will be more sensitive to what they think about it across the pond.
He reminds me of that kid at school who managed to worm his way into the cool kids gang and then ditches all his old friends.
