Longstanton Spice Museum?
If I end up covered in chocolate mousse I'll know who to thank...
I'd go the whole hog and wear that little off the shoulder number you wore when we went out
You didn't meet her online so I won't pass on my friend's advice.
Whatever you do, just be yourself; unless of course, you're an idiot, in which case be someone else.
Quote: shaggy292 @ December 10 2011, 5:02 PM GMTWe're due to be working together on Wednesday - having taken her number, would it be alright to leave it until then to talk to her or should I text her before then?
And then there's the date itself. Where should we go? Pub/bar? Dinner? Coffee? I hadn't even thought that far ahead when I asked her.
Text before, but not incessantly. Take her ice skating, it's a lot of fun. Then have a meal in a nearby restaurant. Stay sober.
It's so easy for us to advise others on what they should do when they want to ask someone out. But, when it's ourselves we go to pieces and lose all common sense, forgetting our own advice to others!

Didya text/call her yet?!
Best first date would be sometime simple and fun. Don't try and throw on the romantic moves right away. Lunch or day out somewhere daft will do it plus if it doesn't work out, you can write it off as two friends having a day out.
