2) Walking (on my own ... crucial)
3) Sitting in front of the PC staring at a blank page, even on those days I feel like never writing another word. Oddly, after an hour or two it all starts to flow.
Art or discipline verging on masochism? I think it's both.

I'd take a chance on it being a sunkissed beach with me dabbling me toes into warm pacific ocean, a big, fat drink in a coconut (with an umbella and a straw in it) sitting in a hammock slung between a couple of palm trees.
I reckon that I could write some brilliant stuff there.

Because this place is about a foot deep in mud, freezing cold and I haven't been away on holiday for about 15 years.

I tend to get most ideas when Im at work, which is why I always have a little pad in my pocket.
At home in front of this computer. It could be anywhere but this is where I settle into the Zone and slip into a trance and let her rip.
