Totally agree but it did say that it was for her own safety but surely they could have found something else, a safe house, bail hostel, something where she could have been with her child (if the PC brigade haven't taken him into care already that is)?

Anyone been on the Dover/Calais/Dover ferry recently by car? On the way back, you may get your passport checked by a ferry employee on the Calais side (to see if the passport name matches the ticket name) and then on the Dover side.. 99% zilch.. even if they pull you over and out of the queue of cars (which is a few in hundreds) they'll talk to you a bit.. and then and only then, they may look at your passport.

Basically because Cameron won't play ball the Eurozone countries are gonna have to make a new treaty dealing with the banking crisis and punitive laws for banks etc instead of modifying the existing treaty. I think
