Nil what is 'hot paper;? do you mean water? Hope it gets fixed before 'overflow' problems start!
Oops *edited*
Quote: Nil Putters @ December 7 2011, 9:13 PM GMTI have no running water due to a broken pipe up the road, which is a real problem when it comes to number twos. Rationing the hot water from the tank atm, hopefully they'll fix it soon.
With modern combi-boiler systems you don't get that option either.
If your mains water pressure is lost, you get NO hot water, no drinking water & no flushing water either.
It's wise to keep a few large jars of water in a cupboard, even though you will probably need to boil it to use it and if you have a house and rain gutters you can keep a big rain water butt full, which you could then use with a bucket or watering can in emergencies to flush the loo.
That's too sensible.
Bill's a proper grownup.

Quote: DaButt @ December 4 2011, 7:09 PM GMTNot at all. I've lived in the south most of my life but I wouldn't qualify as a redneck. They typically have strong southern accents, a pickup truck and a hunting dog. I have none of the aforementioned items.
Typically? Sounds like you're just a rarer form of redneck! Would Aericans not from the South consider you a redneck? And do you actually have a red neck?
You said one of your friends has a pick up, who you went hunting and drinking with, and who drove too fast on the dirt track on your way back. Sounds like redneck behaviour to me!
I'm feeling pretty glum. Can't seem to summon any real optimism.
Why so glum?

C'maaaan Wicksy.. don't worry about "winning" or "losing".. because sometimes when you win, you lose.. and sometimes when you lose, you win..
So.. by all means, sit there and think.. preparation can be good.. just make sure you "do" something as a result..
Because the world is full of talk that remains just that..
.. but action is everything..
Keep that chin up, girl..
