Someone told me there is going to be Nighty Night 3 - is this true? Hope so; such a big fan of Julia Davies.

I don't really see where they could go with it.
Highly unlikely. There's almost no scope for the show to be recommissioned under the realigned channel positions imposed by DQF. I daresay there's also not the will. They've been axing popular shows like mad, so the chances of recommissioning a long-dormant cult one are slim at best.
It would ruin the show to have another.
Some sitcoms just have a right time and place, Nighty Night's has passed.
Series 1 was brilliant
Series 2 was bloody abysmal
I dread to think how bad a third series would be.
