Need help writing! Page 2

hmm, I guess your right with it being to predictable, this is why I would like someone else on board, because I think like you say it is too predictable and someone elses idea give a it a good but different ending.

Can I just ask...are you, specifically, wanting to write something for TV or is it a story that you really want to tell?

I would really like to make it a series, which is really inspirational but funny. This is something I have only recently got into and I don't really know how to set it out when writing it.

What other sports related movies and TV shows do you like?

I don't want to discourage you (and I have no experience to draw on) but, logically, I'd say you can't expect to have an idea and see it made into a TV series without any effort.

Well I have watched films like goal, bend it like beckham. I want to have the same effect of these movies but into a series. But I also I want it to have the comedy of say inbetweeners and things like that. One of the kids I played football with had such a funny personallity which I think would be funny to but into a series, a bit like jay out of of inbetweeners if you have ever seen it.

Rwayne, I totally agree with you and I am willing to put effort in but what I am saying is it would be nice to have someone along side me to offer different ideas and just support me really.

Start small. Try writing a sketch featuring a particularly funny character and then post it in Critique, see what kind of feedback you get on it.

what is Critique?

I understand that but I'd say start writing it. Or have you already?

All I have done really is write the summary, and a couple of character descriptions, but I don't really know what kind of format to right it in?

I would say that's a good place to start. Carry on with writing the characters...you can't spend to much time on that. You have to know them inside out.

ok, thanks a lot for your advice. I really appreciate it guys.

Good luck with it and...enjoy it.
