Well done Liverpool.
It's put them right back in the mix.

Did Newcastle a favour too. Lovely.

Call me old-fashioned, but why doesn't Dougie Freedman put Don Rogers in the squad?

OK - so Chelsea lost again.

The biggest tragedy about this - and I'm talking football in general - is that it could knock all of the stuffing out of AVB.

I think he made a big mistake in taking such a big leap so early in his career. He should've gone to say a big Dutch team or something if he'd had enough at Porto. If they sack him where would he go to now?

If they are clever he won't be sacked, a few seasons without trophys should be the requirement for sacking, if he call pull it together in the next few seasons then he could be at chelsea for nere 40 years, imagine how steady their team would become with a strong manager consistantly at the helm.

but we're talking about Abramovitch here - and the Guusy gander is back on the market.

I thought they were lining Hiddink up for a job as director or something?

A little humility and respect here I think . . . what must Sir Alex be feeling? Spare a thought for him . . .
