If I could choose it would be in a log cabin all by myself. A fire roaring & a big bear looking at me through the window.
Most inspirational place to write.
I weirdly enough get a lot of my ideas just as I'm dropping off to sleep or when I'm on the bus, at both times I don't have a notepad around me.
The world shall never know.

Enough about the Ex.
I talk to myself and act out my sketches. It is all very weird. I think I have to admit that I am a tad fruit the loop.
Toilet walls.
Walking the dogs.

Yeah me too. Annoying because I can never remember exactly what the idea was the following morning, but I can usually remember the gist of it and it drives me up the wall.
I also seem to have ideas just before I'm about to fall asleep so I sleep with my phone next to my bed and type a text message, save it to drafts to read in the morning and transfer to my notebook.

I have to get up and write it down... Which is annoying... No one likes to see a half awake, half naked man walking around their house.
Unless it's Charleys house
You don't do this in your own house then Paul?

Now that wouldn't be as fun now would it?
Does nobody use the voice recorder on their mobile phone? Even text as a prompt.
Ha ha!
"Who the f**k's that sat at the end of the bed Laura?!"
"Oh, it's just the neighbor, he's got an idea for a sketch!"
I too seem to have loads of great ideas in the Janus-state of being half-asleep. The thing is, on the odd occasion I do have a pen and paper to hand and can be arsed to write the idea down, it's always been a really shit and often completely bonkers idea when I read it awake and with all my faculties.
I think Charley's log cabin sounds like a nice place to write. Maybe a shed at the bottom of the garden will have to suffice at some point. That's what men do, isn't it? Have a shed to potter and tinker in.

Clever.
I always dream what my brain tells me are brilliant ideas. Then, when I wake up and go to write them down, 9 times out of 10, I realise they're complete crap. The thing I hate most about writing is forgetting genuinely good ideas.

Me too!!
I would LOVE a log cabin by a lake. In Canada.
We should all club together and rent one.
I could do without the bear to be honest though. Maybe a squirrel.
Then maybe the bear could lie.
