My renewed passport arrived in the mail yesterday. I like the scenes of Americana printed on the pages but I'm not a fan of the stiff cover which contains, I imagine, an RFID chip for use by Big Brother.
It always irks me that the passport offices say the turnaround time is currently 6 weeks but you receive it in about 3 weeks. They probably sucker a lot of people into paying extra money for expedited processing.
