Philip Jackson playing Gordon as the new Clegg. Tony Selby as the Compo type. And Julian Glover as the leader.
Bring back Last of The Summer Wine.
And Denis Waterman can re-do the feem toon.
James Corden could play Wally Batty

I do not think I have ever seen Glover playing comedy. It takes some imagining.
I think it should be John Cleese, David Jason & Michael Crawford
Come on guys, you're old enough now, what are you waiting for?
Surely they need some younger actors? You know, ones that won't go and ruin the hilarity by snuffing it after a couple of series?
Personally, I can't wait to see Matthew Horne, Jack Whitehall and Rob Rouse careering round the Yorkshire Dales in a motorised tin bath on wheels, before crashing over a hedge. What could possibly be funnier!? Well, how about Little Miss Jocelyn as the new (patois-spouting!) Nora Batty!?
Oh, and to ensure longevity of the new series, they need to splice Roy Clarke's brain into a generic LOTSW script-generating program. (If this hasn't already been done.)

This show effectively died when Foggy left IMO
The *first* time Foggy left.
