I like good comedy in all forms, and a good sketch show is one of the best forms invented.

Love sketch shows, when they get it right and you know the characters, it's a great buzz just watching the sketch unfold.

What sketch shows have you seen to convince you they are God awful? Some of my favourite comedies are sketch shows. I think they're good for performers and writers, as they can do a whole range of scenarios and characters.

I dislike lazy sketch shows.

I.e. sketch shows that regurgitate the same gag/scenario week after week like what happened with Little Britain.

I think with sketch shows there is just too much hit and miss. Even Monty P wasn't flawless.

Surely that's the idea, allowing experimentation with small ideas that may grow.
