Well it's bloody cold here. Snarl!

It was 28C here today. It's that weird time between summer and winter.

It was even hotter today while I was brewing beer. :(

Colder weather is in our future and I'm pleased. As long as it isn't too cold Wednesday night at the Willie Nelson concert ...

Can you send some of the cold to me?

I might need it when we get to many days over 33c. Add the humidity and you end up so sticky and uncomfortable. It's nearly impossible to cool down.

At least when it's cold you can put the heating on, put on another layer of clothing and curl up under the blankets to warm up.

We had something like 60 days over 100F/38C this summer. Not much humidity, however. I grew up in south Florida and I'll take this dry heat over that humid sweatbox any day.

Most definetly. I love getting out the bath/shower/pool only to start sweating before I can dry the water off.......NOT

I hear ya. Front door to car = sweat-soaked clothes. I always felt bad for the people who had to wear long sleeves and jackets to work. It just ain't sensible.

Getting out of the shower and then sweating is annoying.

I'm always too hot after a shower, even in winter.
Maybe I should shower in cold water. Errr

Is this because of your massive sex drive?

I tried showering in cold water once when my boiler broke. I nearly went into cardiac arrest. Try it, it's unbelievably unpleasant.

The boiler broke in our ancient barracks when I was in the Army, so we had to take cold showers for a week. It was below freezing outside and quite unpleasant.

It takes your breath away, doesn't it? I've had the hot water cut out mid-shower before. Same goes with the cold water. I died.

It has been thoroughly miserable here today. Dank and dark South Wales. :(

And South Wales in the drizzle can very soon remove the will to live !

Walked around the pubs in Cardiff a few times on match days like that !
