Had a marathon Walking Dead session last night. That was fun. Can three episodes count as a marathon? Watched American Horror Story as well. It was okay, nothing great though.

saw most of season 1 of Walking dead, I currently watch Thundercats. Lol! Thats it LOL!! because I'm a child ;)

I did watch Thundercats but it must've been when I was 5 years old and younger. So it's not something that really stuck with me. I never enjoyed the "action" cartoons as much as I did the comedy ones. Such as Warner Bros. and the like.

Excpetions to this rule: Dinoriders, One of the Spiderman cartoons*, He-Man, Captain Planet and the Planeteers, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dangermouse (;)).

*mainly for his internal narrative (it was like an early Peep Show)

It's new Thundercats dude! :D

Bet you it's the 90's Spiderman, where Peter Parker looked like he was 30 year old body builder but was meant to be a teen

I can't find out which one it was. But it would have been mid-90s. I think it's Spider-Man:The Animated Series. But I can't find a video. I like it because like I said it featured more of his internal dialogue than it did mindless action. Not that I didn't and don;t like mindless action I just never enjoyed it in cartoons.

I know all Mr Lee.

There's a new X-Men cartoon out, Gav. Like the new anime Iron Man & Wolverine ones.

Is it any good? The Iron man and Wolverine were quite poor.

Just watched Pointless. I knew the answers to all of the "Who was the singer from this group" category.

One man - around my age said quite confidently the The Mothers of Invention were led by Captain Beefheart.

Just watched David Beckham on the news.

When asked whether at the age of 36 he was too old for international football, he replied: "People have been saying that about me for the last 10 or 15 years."

Only seen ep1 so far. Was ok, nothing special.

Man vs Food

Not seen this before

Seems they pay some greedy American twat to stuff himself like a f**king pig on TV

Dear God

What a f**kin world we live in

I hope he chokes to death

I frickin love that show. Partly because Adam is such a star, the food is great and the promo bits are cheeze tastic.

But I do end up feeling ill at the challenge bit. Why would anyone want to eat a 5.5lb pizza? Why?

One epi he ate a 180lb burger with 40 volunteers.

It's epically pointless.

nb between episodes Adam is a daily yoga practising vegan. It's the only way he can avoid death.

I've been watching a bit of that with my 5-year-old nephew Tom, and I don't think it's as good as the old series. For starters, Snarf doesn't even talk. What's all that about?! I used to have a picture of Snarf stuck to the inside of my desk lid, when I was in Primary school.

Actually, I've been showing loads of old cartoons to Tom rcently, and he's even learned all the theme songs. He knows the themes to Thundercats, Dangermouse, T.M.N.Turtles, Trap Door, Inspector Gadget, the original Spiderman cartoon from the '60s, The Real Ghostbusters, Jamie and the Magic Torch, The Wuzzles and others. It's been a weird experience watching them all again, after so long. Just yesterday I was watching Spiderman and his Amazing Friends with Tom, and the minute I heard the music, my head was filled with images of me watching it as a kid, eating cereal on a Saturday morning, when it was shown on Going Live with Phillip Schofield and Gordon the Gopher.

I think the best cartoon at the moment is Superhero Squad. Have you seen it? It's really funny and well written. Stan Lee even provides the voice for one of the characters.
