Anyone know of open mic nights in the north east

Specifically the Middlesbrough area

Wild Bunch in Boro is on indefinite hiatus.
Next nearest is All Jokes Aside in Redcar.
Then there is Flix movie cafe in Hartlepool.
Laughing penguin NANM, Pandamonium Comedy, Quack Quack Comedy, Do Tell Tales, Laughing Lasses, Comedy Pick n Mix- all in Newcastle.

There are a couple more than that I think in Tyne and Wear but can't remember them off the top of my head. You want to check out the NE comedy forum.

There is one in Aberdeen that do spots all the time. breakneck comedy I did a few gigs with them they are very good. Look the up on the net.

There's one tonight at Newcastle's new comedy venue The Stand. I might be wrong but I think they're on every Wednesday? It's called Red Raw.

The Stockton ARC sometimes has a "Beat the Gong" night. I'll keep you posted about when the next one crops up.

Hi everyone... Just to confirm the open mic night I am running at the Fighting Cocks DOES allow for comedy acts. Please come down and take part in the night. This open mic night also allows poets and musicians to take part.

Please everyone come down! I was aware of a few people who called the fighting cocks and asked if it really was a comedy night, and the landlord didn't know. I have spoken to the landlord and we can 100% confirm that comedy acts are allowed, so please, everyone come!

The event runs at: The Fighting Cocks, 4 South Street, Town Centre, Durham, DH14PP.
