Your religion. Page 9

What about his feet?

And what about the horsehead nebula in his pants?

I think some people who claim to be religious, really aren't, if this story is anything to go by.

A religious education teacher who sent sexual text messages to a pupil blamed the break-up of an affair for her actions, Bolton Crown court has heard.

Katheryn Roach, 24, who was a teacher at Thornleigh Salesian College, in Bolton, admitted inciting a child to engage in sexual behaviour.

Roach told the court that the break-up of her affair with another man, just as she was getting engaged to her fiance, was the reason why she sent 205 texts to the boy between March and April 2011.

While this is behaviour I find reprehensible, where has she claimed to be religious?

?

Passing sentence, Judge Steven Everett told her: "What is very clear, unfortunately, at that particular time, you can only be regarded as a selfish and hypocritical individual.

"On the one hand professing to be strongly religious, based on your Catholic faith, and actually a teacher, teaching religious education to children."

Rob what I think he meant is aetheists are helpless wild creatures completely victim to their lusts.
Bit like chimpanzees.
Can't expect much more of them.

The only pleasure I take reading this, is in Judaism hypocritical obediance of religious laws to serve your own ends.
Is a much bigger sin than simply not believing.
I hope that penny drops one day.

True. Scumbags are scumbags. And they are scumbags in spite of any religion they profess to hold rather than because of it.

If there was no such thing as religion, these people would still be scumbags but they would use a different excuse to rationalise their behaviours.

Not sure if she was trying to rationalise her behaviour via religion, although I suppose being catholic, maybe she feels she has to sin a lot in order to do confession.

One good thing about religion is the Nativity Play. I always chose to be an angel, cos they didn't have to speak. http://andromedababe.wordpress.com/2010/11/04/baby-jesus-heads-come-off/

Ultimately the bible is just a book.

It's what you do with it that counts.

These discussions always seem to focus on those who use it for nefarious ends.

There's more shit in the Bible than a Julie Birchill novel.

Personally I like a good 'begatting'.

But it's ludicrous to say that Muslims don't get the piss taken out of them.

It's the reactions that are ludicrous:
