Yet Another Yvette Fielding sketch

THE YEAR IS "))"
(Or 2002 without CAPS LOCK on)
YVETTE FIELDING IS IN A MEETING WITH HER EXECUTIVE PRODUCER

Exec:
Yvette, it's your company, It's your show. I don't understand why you want to quit.

Yvette:
I just don't believe in Ghosts, So I don't think I can front this type of show.

Exec:
Not at all? Well maybe if you did the show, then after a while you might start to believe, just like the guys from Rentaghost

Yvette:
It's not going to happen. It's all bullshit & you know it.

Exec:
I'll tell you what! I'll just leave the contract here, please have a think about it

EXEC LEAVES
YVONNE LOOKS AT THE CONTRACT
AS THE PRODUCER & DIRECTOR COME IN

Producer:
So have you signed up Yvette?

Yvette:
I'll tell you exactly the same as I told the Executive producer

Director:
Executive Producer?

Yvette:
Yes he was saying that I might change my mind

Producer:
But we don't have an executive producer

Yvette:
Yes we do, he was just here a second ago

Director:
We haven't had an executive producer for years

Producer:
The last executive producer we had committed suicide 5 years ago in this very room.

Yvette:
Oh my God, you don't think...

Director:
Yes I do

Yvette:
Have you got a pen?

THE PRODUCER NOW HAS A SHEET OVER HIS HEAD

Producer:
Wooooh

Director:
Not now Des

:D

Laughing out loud

:D Excellent!

V.Funny.

Top notch

Don't know who Yvette Fielding is but I Laughing out loud all the same.

It's a great idea and it made me laugh. But on second reading today I think it could be better.

The bit I didn't like was the referring to him as 'the executive producer', his job title isn't a particularly interesting character trait, and it was very repetitively said, like 9 times.

You could give him some kind of unique trait like make him Scottish. And then the Director could go 'we haven't had a Scottish guy here since old mad Jock McJock (or whatever) who killed..., blah blah'. And make it a more interesting ghost story\character. Then you could even have fun with his character in the intro by making him a bit odd.

Well that's what I reckon anyway.

It's a cracking idea and made me chuckle, but agree with the dude above. 'Executive Producer' isn't funny and I reckon you could work that better. Top notch though

Very funny.

Steve's talent actually puts me off writing.

Great work.

Cheers all.
:)
And thanks for the helpful feedback.

Don't know who Yvette Fielding is but I Laughing out loud all the same.

She Hosts Most Haunted & other Ghostly type shows, and I think she is part of the company who produces them.

I thought this was a top notch idea, nice logic. Find contact details for the producer of that Culshaw and Stephenson sketch show and send it to them.

Cheers Corey, I couldn't think of anywhere it would possibly go, but that's a good idea.
Not that they ever go anywhere mind...
