I f**king hate it.
It does the very opposite of what it puports to do ie bring you 'into' the film.
Can't wait for it's horrid bubble to burst.
I'm taking my boys to see Tin Tin again just so they can enjoy the story.
3D
Big Sympathese, I get headache with those blinking glasses on, so much prefer 2d. was chuffed to have time to go cinema and see last Harry Potter in 2d.
Its another way of getting more money I guess and having less pirate copies made from cinema visits maybe!
I'm not that bothered about 3D. I can take it or leave it.

Do people genuinley do that?
I've always found that extraordinary.

It's also interesting that they show it both ways - must be a decent amount of people who can't stand 3D out there.
I remember being impressed with the odd effect. But it isn't something I'd want to watch for 90mins. I especially don't like the idea of 3D TV though. That can f**k right off. Played a Nintendo 3DS yesterday, it was okay, but again didn't add a great deal to the game.
3D pornography, that's one in the eye for the censors.

And they're always so patently crow-barred in.
Very few directors want to work with it - it's very much the Studio Execs foisting it on them.

I used to live in Leyton and the Asda there used to be place for half dozen pirate DVD sellers. Always amused me how blatent they were. Yup people do sit in cinemas and film movies still.
If its likely to be a popular film they will usually have 2d version of it. Any extra business for cinemas is a good thing for them.

The most impressive thing was a short film before the movie telling us to put our glasses on. Everything else during the film did, as you say feel crow-barred in.

I watched 3d porn, I have no idea what came over me

The couple of things I've seen in 3d were pretty pointless. Not much better than a Viewmaster. Not really good 3d, just things in several layers.
On the other hand, some of the iMax style 3d stuff has been pretty good, like the short film at the London Eye or the Terminator thing at Universal Studios.
I've been messing about a bit recently trying to make 2d pictures into 3d pictures. Here's one. Cross your eyes until the helicopters overlap and you should see the stereoscopic effect.
I am not a big fan of 3D although apparently I should have seen Avatar in it.
I've never seen a film in 3D. Not really fussed.

Don't bother it's 3 odd hours of your life you won't get back. The Goodies win. There saved you getting a numb arse and numb head after watching that fanboy wank.
