Women!

Is anyone planning on watching this? For those not in the know, this a sketch show from France featuring an all-female cast lead by Judith Siboni and Olivia Côte. It's on at 23.50 on BBC Two (probably watch it on iPlayer).

The description in the Radio Times says:

Women! is quick, silly and a bit rude, driven by Côte and Siboni's uninhibited performances: episode one sees one or other of them variously urinate, strip naked and be hit in the face repeatedly with a volleyball. Each sketch is one take, one camera, one joke and out. With nothing lasting over two minutes, it's very much a case of: "Didn't like that? Never mind, here's another" - but it shouldn't take you long to laugh.

Sounds like some sort of combination between Smack the Pony, The Fast Show and a Dogme 95 film.

Very simplistic.

One of the women did get completely nude though, which is not something you see often on a sketch show.

Bloody French!

French? Women? Comedy? Don't make me laugh.

Nice rack though. Funnily enough I stopped watching after that sketch.

I thought the one sketch on the bus was mildly amusing.

I should imagine viewing figures should see a boost next week.

A bit like Smack the Pony. Quite funny. Not sure why the BBC blurred the private parts though, we are in the 2010's now, not the 1950's.

It's not just the Beeb that do it. I watched The Mr and Mrs Hotty Hott Hot Show on E4 last night and they blurred out Matthew Crosby's genitals in that.

Nice to know where my licence fee is being spent.

Of course it could be the case that the blurring was done by the original French broadcaster and the BBC are just showing what originally went out.
