Just sent mine off - ended up with around 10 I think. Feels strange knowing I only have to wait until tomorrow night to find out if any are used (well, recorded at least!) and then a long wait until the next series...
Newsjack - Series 5 Page 68
Sent of 11 app messages and two corrections.
1 sketch and 7 one-liners this week.
I'm happy with what I've sent, but think the stories I've picked are probably a bit old now. Quite a bit's happened since the weekend and I didn't really rise to the challenge.
Ah the last auto-reply of the series. I'll miss you next week.
And clearly missed the memo earlier about going to the last recording and drink afterwards. Enjoy and see you for episode 6 of Series 6.
Scraped together five on the apps. It's been fun and I'll miss the joy of juggling to hit the deadlines and then the endless wait for the email not to arrive.

I didn't see a memo either. You can come with me Stephen. I'm not fussy at all.
12 one liners no time for sketches
but meeting you lot for a drink afterwards is reward enough

Alas I'm otherwise occupied on Wednesday. Used to go to the recordings and then they started moving them to rather random locations.
It's a shame as I'd like to put some faces to the blogging pseudonyms.
OK, so I decided to join in this week, if only to be able to share my rejects later on, and join in the self-deprecation which I'm putting up to shield myself against the fear of rejection. 2 sketches, Beyonce plagiarising Russell Grant, and a Tory Party Freaky Friday remake; plus a few 1-liners ranging between OK to awful, which I left in based on the theory that they like the worst that contributors have to offer.
Page of one liners from me. My only real attempt this series.
It's going to be very strange waking up on Monday having got some sleep rather than writing till the early hours...

This.
It's been illuminating to realise just how many comedy writers are out there.
I am envious of, and loudly applaud those BCG posters who can generate so much material, especially sketches. My stretch is a few feeble one-liners and even they require time consuming trawls through news sources, selecting some headlines with potential, trying to link an unlikely couple for hilarious effect etc. Nothing's been used yet by Newsjack. Don't they know who I am? My credits include one gag on Week Ending 1982 and another in Huddlines 1998, if memory serves. Best of luck to you all.
My most productive week ever - three sketches (plane stuck at Gatwick, primogeniture and Brent Council's bibliotequophobia) and seventeen in the one liner trail, covering whips, Scrabble, more Queen, Edwina on poverty (which I was worried may have passed people by), leccy bills, van Goch, etc.

The maths dictate that your next credit will be in 2014.
Glad you got yours on, mine was corrupted on arrival so No chance!
As new to the required 'Word' documentation, very difficult, attemped Ariel 12 pt- double space etc, however on arrival 'corrupt' don't know what that means guys?.
Appreciate any advice for further submissions, as wasted a day doing this
