Newsjack - Series 5 Page 66

Blast you Gerry. I did the Clarkson satnav. And a rather feeble take on the Irish guy from their version of Dragon's Den who's running for President.

I'm reading the wrong papers.

I missed the Dragon President story, I'll have to add to my list for potential one-liners, which is a sorry looking batch at present :)

I'm sure the BBC puts these stories up deliberately at noon on a Monday:

I was working on a sketch where David Cameron is in his office and Liam Fox comes in for a dressing down. He is followed in by an assortment of characters, who take it in turn to hand DC their business cards and explain their presence there (personal trainer, food taster, elocution coach, etc). My sketches never seem to get off the ground, so I ditched it.

Still, you can get one or two gags out that for tomorrow.

No sketches from me this week, but the weeks I don't submit any sketches have always been the weeks I also get a one-liner in, so it was tactics, not pure laziness on my part...honest! ;)

I've already thought of an app for that, heh.

three for me - newsjack film, wooton bassett and Queen becoming great gran again. I wrote a Liam Fox interview but read that cameron will be publishing a report about it on tuesday so thought it may be useless by wednesday so sent it to newsrevue

Just sent in some one liners. Cut out all the ones that I thought were useless, then reworded what was left to the best of my ability.

I only sent one sketch last night in the end, on the Steps reformation and Justin interviewing a superfan.

I did have a film trailer about someone anonymously taunting Cameron and the Tories with secrets he had found in bins, but it was too rubbish so I didn't send it.

Finishing one liners, will send them in a little bit.

Anyone going on Wednesday evening?

may do

One sketch from me which involves Occupy Whatever, Julian Assange and George Orwell :$
