Regarding the Citizenship test, my girlfriend from New Xealand passed it recently. She already has permancy having been here ten years but wanted a British passport.

She took it seriously; got the books and studied them and kept doing them online until she knew practically all the answers. So anyone who wants to can pass. Yes - I had difficulty with lots of them too.
