As I've said too many times already, 2 standard, 16-round mags have an identical capacity and can be switched out in about a second. Trying to legislate people into harmlessness is impossible; I'd rather not have my rights slowly chipped away while the government foolishly tries to pacify the insane, the murderous and the criminal.
nb there's a reason that funsters in special forces are the usual customers for such items. They're useful for shooting lots of people.
I've never seen a professional soldier with a 33-round magazine extending out the bottom of his sidearm. They carry standard magazines and lots of 'em.
nb yesterday in London we had some one run amock, they had a knife. Tragically they killed one person and severely injured another. One wanders what would have happened if she had a high capacity fire arm?
One wonders what would have happened had she driven her car at high speed into a crowd of pedestrians. One wonders what might have happened had she had a gallon of gasoline and a match. One wonders what might have happened had she been strolling down the street with a Bengal tiger on a leash.

There's no suggestion he supplied the drugs, nor that they even belonged to him. For all we know, these kids took drugs into his house without him knowing, and now he's getting charged with possession. He might be a victim, too.
