China owns something like $1.2 trillion of our $14 trillion debt: less than 10%.

I dunno maybe it makes msssacres a bit harder if you have to reload more often.

Public or private?
Fortunately your government can't sell China your credit card, yet...
Yeah but how much do you spend on noodles. We have watched Friends etc you know!

Not really; I can change mags in less than 2 seconds. The majority of the world's shooting sprees haven't involved ridiculous-capacity magazines; they just carry more guns and more mags. A guy with a duffel full of single-shot derringers could kill dozens.

Thrust magazine? Orgasm? Fully loaded? Heavy weapons. Hey chuck how much is Orgasm magazine, got a guy here who wants orgasm magazine. (apologies to to Woody Allen)
He'd also get RSI
But it's worth remembering in the Gabrielle Gifford shooting the gunman was disarmed whilst reloading.
This stuff is kinda obvious really.

He dropped the full magazine when he was trying to reload or he would have kept shooting until he ran out of ammo or was himself shot.

Well that seems a logical analysis unless he paused to finish the crossword.

Well things like that happen when you're stressed
If he hadn't had 33 rounds to begin with, I dunno mybe he might have shot less people?
But you avoid the question why have so many bullets to begin with? Armies of burglars?
Funny that so much fuss is made about Jo Yeates's killer getting crisps while her body was in his car. Typical of us British that we're so concerned that he breached etiquette by failing to dispose of the body before eating.

As I said, 2 standard magazines have equal or greater capacity and the change could have been done in a second or two.
My point is that it's ridiculous to expect legislation to be the answer. Murder is already a crime and it's almost impossible to stop a determined killer. The insane psycho is the culprit here, not a piece of plastic and metal.
Perhaps we should ban gatherings of more than 3 people in order to prevent mass shootings. Kitchen knives longer than one inch could be made illegal in order to prevent stabbings and cricket bats should be made out of balsa wood to prevent beatings.[/quote]

Those are novelty items that almost nobody owns. I imagine they'd be handy at the range because loading mags is time consuming.
When you call a 33 round magazine a novelty item you sound a little scary.
nb there's a reason that funsters in special forces are the usual customers for such items. They're useful for shooting lots of people.
nb yesterday in London we had some one run amock, they had a knife. Tragically they killed one person and severely injured another. One wanders what would have happened if she had a high capacity fire arm?

That is a commercial I would like to see. Food on the go.
