From another Mac? http://www.apple.com/remotedesktop/

Will give it a go cheers. :)

Ooo that's not free! :(

Not free? Silly.

You could use DropBox to share photos

http://www.dropbox.com

You get a reasonable amount of free storage. I used it recently (on Windows) to share a folder. You just drop the files into a nominated local folder and it syncs them online in the background.

Has anyone else had a connection error stop them accessing Facebook through a mobile the last couple of weeks? There are quite a few posting on FB's help pages about it but no answer why. Anyone else effected?

I've seen that error message when my Wifi has dropped but not received it at any other time I don't think?

I have a tablet thingy that duel boots between Android and Windows 7. The problem is that it can't connect to my network and more importantly the internet. Strange thing is that it connects perfectly when booted into Android but with Windows I get this message "No connections are available". It has been working up until I installed 'Microsoft Touch Pack for Win 7' earlier today.

I'm going to try and uninstall that. I've already "deleted" the network adapter so it reinstalls on reboot but that didn't help.

I know it's not a hardware issue as like I said it still connects in Android. But why the heck can't it connect in Windows?!

I'm Google the feck out of it but if any of you lovely people know, I will be very grateful for your thoughts and possibly solutions.

Haha, I figured it out. One of its three only buttons also acts when held down to control the power of the wireless adapter. >_< Always the simplest solution.

I have a microwave that is playing up, every time I put a tin of beans in it the thing it f**king blows up, any advice?
I'm sorry but don't know the model name or number because the whole thing is covered in dried curried bean sauce thanks to the exploding problem.

If you don't open the beans until after you have cooked them that should solve the spillage problem.

That seems to have done the trick, thanks.

Another question concerning my weird tablet thing. There is 12 GB of system storage and a 16 GB SD card. I keep trying to do all the service pack and security updates but the system storage keep running out of space. It's a new machine. So I"m not sure if it's just Win7 is taking up 11GB or what?

Is it possible to move stuff (as in system files) over to the SD card?

What is the quickest/least fiddly way of scanning in lots of pages into Word 2007? And I mean a LOT.....like 185 pages.

At the moment I have to scan into paint, save and import.

Thanks!

Microsoft Office Tools -> Document Imaging.

It may not have been installed by default, but should be on the instalation DVD & be an optional install in the installation program.

Thanks, Bill. :)

Sorted now.

I like to use MouseKeys, where the numberpad keys act as a mouse. After my daughter has used games on Facebook, the left-click becomes a right-click. I can only change it back by restarting the computer; what's going on? She swears she doesn't even touch the numberpad.
