Ah, now THAT was a good app, nice work. :)

Haha, cheers! Wrote it on Tuesday lunchtime. Wrote 5 gags about Saudi women getting the right to vote, rejected 3, sent 2 in (along with about 8 other one-liners), one of 'em got picked, woo!

The pep talk from the girl in the coffee shop clearly helped me. :)

Did anybody else notice that Jack Hackett got a credit in Ep3?

Yes! And Richard O'Brien is his writing partner...

Regardless Dan, that easily ranks as the best 'And finally' from the last two series for me, bravo.

I did find last night's episode to be pretty strong, apart from a few of the apps (my own included).

The sketch that got me laughing the most was the 'Shakespeare with typos', one of those 'can't believe I didn't think of that' moments and very well done indeed.

Cheers radiat10n -- appreciated.

I also liked the 'Shakespeare with typos' sketch, though I think the Eurofighter advert was most excellent. I am, however, from Bradford so know the A650 to Shipley...

Dan

You see I really liked the idea of the Shakespeare sketch but it lost me at disco tents. That's been doing the rounds for years. And then followibgg it up with fart. Great idea but punchljnes didn't do it for me. Still it's not me you have to impress.

And liked the Saudi app too. Nice

I'd never heard it before and it made me laugh like a drain!

Dan, siloed from society

Ronnie Barker would have run amok with that Shakespeare sketch. I liked it. As somebody else has said, I wished I had thought of it.

I know a lot of people on here got stuff on but wouldn't have said it was the strongest show in the series, but will give Dan his due for the And finally.

They are taking the post watershed slot a bit more by the scruff of the neck this time. Wonder if they've got a bet on as to what they can get under the radar before someone complains.

The David Fannyflaps line really made me laugh.

Weirdly, I wrote something very similar, but didn't send it..
Mine was gonna be Mingeflap.

I thought, Nah, they'd never go for that!

haha brilliant that someone managed to credit those two characters. hope it was deliberate by the newsjack team.

:| My Saudi womens vote skit did'nt make it.

I just listened to the latest episode, optimistically hoping to hear some of my stuff that they mistakenly forgot to credit me for. I found myself chuckling quite a few times; the Ricky Gervais impression was excellent. Congrats to all who got on.

Best bit of the show, in my humble opinion.

Back on the horse. Started my first sketch for this week and collecting potential news stories. I never knew so much about politics.
