Because it doesn't rhyme with ponce it is ponce. A poor effort there from Steve who'll never win a Bafta - he's written himself into a corner after only one line. Quite remarkable.
I think he was referring to the term popular in prison parlance - 'nonce' GT.
Was it ever clarified whether the indecent images featured boys or girls? What would be worse? There's only one way to find out...
Lol. Oh dear. To be honest, I think Langham's come out of this with more dignity intact than some of the posters on this thread...
