Erk. Good luck!

I am watching chameleons on BBC1 and thinking of Nat Wicks. ;)

I want it stripping down before Friday, really. I see facebook statuses and pics etc as transient things which should come and go, not be used to form a timeline of your life! I've got all of my messages and everything saved which is good. They don't make it easy to scale back your account though- I'm having to go in and delete everything individually which will take hours.

Apologies to anyone who was just tagged by me. I foolishly clicked on that bloody report card thing. Hopefully it's gone away now though.

I try and keep my profile to a minimum. I'd untag myself from photos but I think my Mum will tell me off for that. Errr

On another note I had a strange American brew called Blue Moon yesterday which was served up with a half segment of orange, it was surprisingly refreshing on a hot day!

Blue Moon is made by a megabrewery (Coors) but tries to sell itself as a craft beer brewed by a microbrewery. It seems to be fairly popular (especially amongst women) and is actually somewhat drinkable. I'm not a fan of adding fruit to a glass of beer but it's pretty standard with wheat beers like Blue Moon, many of which are brewed with orange peel, coriander, etc.

You're right, a good wheat beer is very refreshing on a hot day. I consumed many a pint of the house version at the Monte Carlo casino's brewpub in Vegas back in the day. I hear that they no longer brew their own beer. :(

Two days from now I'll be sampling 2200 beers from 500 breweries at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver. Whee! Lovey

Someone has been charging things to my credit card. I've finally entered the 21st century. Errr

oh bugger. How horrible. Will your bank pay you the money back?

I've decided that Facebook knows (and is sharing) more about me than I'm comfortable with. Even though I've always been quite strict about who can see what. I've downloaded my FB data and am now in the process of stripping it back. Then I will next work on what appears in Google (if I Google my name I get 2-3 solid pages of results, which is too much of an internet presence for someone who has done nothing of note).

Totally agree. I don't know quite how I'm going to do this... I have to stop commenting on everything. It's the fact I'm subscribed to everyone without even saying I wanted to be.

I have been enjoying a Cornish Ale of late - called Doombar and was informed on Sunday that the company who make it has been bought out by Coors!

Poor Marc. :(

Lol. I like a wheat beer and a pink shirt and I don't care what anyone thinks! :D

The major international breweries seem to be gobbling up the smaller ones. I'm fine with it if they continue to make the same beers with the same quality and just want to capitalize on the popularity of craft beer, but I have a sneaking suspicion they intend to strangle small breweries and keep them from distributing their product to a wide market.

Perhaps we'll find ourselves 100 years in the past where every town had a small brewery or two which only distributed their beers locally.
