Green Zone. The central message is a bit old hat (the Americans lied about there being WMDs in Iraq ), but the film itself is a well-oiled thriller with plenty of exciting chasy shooty crashy-through-doory action.
I've just seen... Page 208
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. Unfortunately I saw the gripping series for the first time at Christmas. Being so fresh it cast a shadow over the film, making the plot and characters feel condenced.
That was a pity as it is a really fine piece of work judged on its own merits and Gary Oldman handled the legacy of the series better than anyone. Again the shorter running time meant there he didn't have as much screen time as I was expecting.
Good to see Roger Lloyd Pack turn up as Smiley's helper as well.
Paul...
Hmm
Absolutely.... Average
'The Social Network'. Enjoyed it but at one point I did think they were such shits I should come off Facebook.

Save the Green Planet - Korean psychological thriller/torture porn/sci-fi screwball comedy and all round train wreck of a movie.
Someone on x-factor trying to make me punch the TV by naming percentages over 100.
Serves me right for watching it
Battlefield LA.
Boring, stupid over patriotic. Would of had a more enjoyable time being drowned in elephant crap.

Were you inspired to watch it just to see what a car crash it is?

Bastards
'Drive' - Half of the film is in unnecessary arty slo-mo and the soundtrack is the worst I've ever heard. Annoying.
Watched Fire In The Sky (1993) last night as I had fond memories of it from when I was younger. It wasn't nearly as good as I had remembered. It had some good "horror" moments, but generally a bit boring and cliche. I forgot Robert Patrick was in it, did his career really ever take off? I can only think of a few movies he's been in. He's not a bad actor, but I wouldn't know where to cast him. Although he was terrifying in Terminator 2: JD.

He's in Striptease with Demi Moore.
