My son has an online 'Retro Game' site, he does reasonably OK so can't really knock e-bay.

I bought a music magazine from 1998 the other day, and the letters page in it featured a letter that was written and sent in by me. I did buy a copy when it first came out, but I left it on a bus before I had a chance to read it, and never bought another copy. It was weird reading the letter after all that time.

My nephew has something like that. Helps subsidise his uni expenses.
I have a friend who has a business and his 2 sons (16 & 17) used one of his spare offices to sell on Ebay.
The room was packed out with shirts and clobber they had bought from car boot sales and they were in the middle, packing and posting items.
I congratulated them on their entrepreneurial skills and wished them good luck.
Within a year they had gone to a 'rag merchant' who bought bails of rags to use as filling for bedding (it's chewed into fluff before being used)
They took out all the jeans and leather coats and anything of use and bought them for pennies.
They bought a washing machine and laundry equipment and reconditioned everything.
These boys (now in their 20's) have their own offices and warehouse and industrial washers etc and employ several people to do the work they did.
Judging by the cars they now own - they aren't doing too badly.
That's great.
It always makes me feel sad for humanity when you see people openly lying in product descriptions to make a quick buck and deceive people.
Never, repeat, never try and sell a relatively new smartphone with significant water damage for part/spares etc and not expect a barrage of insults about stolen goods/insurance fraud etc.

I expect we have all seen things listed where the person is living in cloud cuckoo land (I know I have), but this one takes the biscuit - this is the 5th time they have relisted it. £25 plus £7.50 postage? You need to have your bumps felt mate.

Hipster? Say Daddio I don't think anyone would be that stupid. I'm sure you can buy new retro wallpaper these days and not have to wonder if that roll + plus part roll would be enough.
Besides, the pattern looks to me as though it could have come from any decade apart from the 50s.
Ha. Maybe after the tenth time of relisting it they'll take the hint!
