What are you listening to now? Page 856

This Perfect World - Freedy Johnston (No, that's not a typo :D )

They play around ten seconds of this song in the film Kingpin (where I first heard it about 15 years ago) and I never found out what the actual song was for yeeeears.
It's one of those songs where I HAVE to sing along to the chorus whenever I listen to it: http://youtu.be/v8Ndl3Yifc8

:)I know someone out of their band!

The other woman - Caro Emerald. I love the feel of her new album.

(Yes - shiny and metallic)

REM have split up:

One of my favourite ever gigs was REM at Milton Keynes Bowl back in '95. (The Cranberries and Radiohead were the support.) It was a great weekend on the play-up.

Here's REM covering 'Love is all Around'

Aww, I used to love concerts at the MK Bowl. Didn't go to that one though.

Free at last. I'm a big fan of Free I really wanted to like it but this really was their most naff album.

Womens Hour :)

Not Womans Hour?

:) Whats wrong with that?...

I'm listening to Jay Z rape Otis Redding :(

Ew. Shouldn't be allowed.
I'm not even going to listen to that out of curiosity!

Not only is he raping the music of one of my favourite singers of all time, ever. It also literally sounds like he's being raped with a looping "Ooh" sample from Otis.

That's Rape Music for you!

Hopefully it will help more people discover Otis Redding though.

He's like a young Eddie Murphy.
