That kind of stuff faded away 50 years ago in the United States. We've been a pick-up-a-gallon-in-a-plastic-jug-at-the-supermarket nation ever since.
I wonder how places like Texas handled milk deliveries back in the day? A bottle of milk wouldn't last an hour in the summer heat.
