Good luck to all.

Snap, I blame the news.
4 one liners & two sketches sent off into the ether - autoreply only received for the one liners.
I have to say it is really impressive that they get all this stuff read, it's a shame (but totally understandable) they can't provide feedback - even if it was just an "out of 10" rating...but full marks to the BBC for continuing this new writer mantra.
are there any Newsjack alumni's that have gone on to loftier heights?
James Kettle is I believe one of the producers and I met someone who had a stint on the News Quiz purely off the back of it.
Not many but for those who catch the ear or eye then it can be one of the few door ways.
Newsjack away
16 this week, I think the limit is 12 but what the hey they can stop reading after 12.

Well I hope the last 4 aren't the best ones in that case! But they said in last week's webchat that there's no set limit - just that 10-12 is a good number to aim for.
I dfoubt they;'re going to set the world of comedy on fire.
Just two one-liners for me submitted this week.
10 one liners and 7 corrections for me.
I sent 12 lines. My approach is suppose I was a comic onstage and somebody mention Chris Huhne and Energy - I wouldn't just stand there and say nothing. I'd have to think of something. I came up with 'Chris Huhne says he'll make it easier for us to change utilities suppliers. It'll be as easy as changing the name on a speeding ticket.'
Don't laugh - send money.
I can't remember Newsjack ever swearing or broaching a touchy subject throughout all 5 series.
I dunno about swearing, but no touchy subjects? BOLLOCKS.
What about the Arab Spring, the riots, the cuts, gay marriage, phone-hacking etc etc etc?
Not making jokes about murder victims and the like isn't "avoiding touchy subjects", it's being grown-up.
Phone hacking a touchy subject? Do you whoop whoop and airpunch whilst reading the Mirror?
Scrambled to three but distracted by Vince Cable's trouser analogy.

He is a shiny fox, he was an olympian dontcha know
I don't think riots or the cuts are touchy subjects either. I meant touchy subjects as in natural disasters etc - although such tragedies could be described better than "touchy" I must admit
