I've watched a few of your sketches and I think they all need the same thing.
Cutting.
By about 90%.
The act of taking 6 minutes and turning into 60 seconds will force you to pick only the best bits and focus on what the idea is.
You won't have time for all that mugging to camera, you won't be making the same joke half-a-dozen times and the whole thing won't feels so rambling and amateurish.
Get the scissors out.

They weren't quibbles.
They were suggestions that you make fundamental changes to your work.
It's always a mistake to seek out those who think everything you do is great and take that as validation.
Better to listen to those slightly harsher voices who take time to make constructive criticism.
And it's nothing to do with the quality of the equipment.
All you really need ia a red pencil and piece of paper.

Like they say agree with everyone and you get to the top, and youve got to fake it before you make it! Why a red pencil? Ive got one with a USA flag on it, as they are easily pleased with my work unlike the British who love to put people down, but I agree it is healthy to listen to constructive criticism, I get enough of that from my Mum, she said I shouldnt have got my arse out in a hospital sketch because its portraying the wrong image, yet someone else said it was hilarious. Ive only posted the ones I think are not that good and like Eddie Izzard said sometimes youve got to kill your creative babies to move on, that sketch is one of those, although the yanks love it for some weird reason. Cheers, I quite like the way you handle things and value your opinion, at least you say it like it is without being personal. Thanks for that Lazzard. xxx

...it might be that the fact that the sketch contains the word fellatio in the title (or felacio as you've spelled it) that you've netted a few hits. As for the Americans "loving it", the only comment I see is the one you wrote yourself, and just one person seems to have hit the 'like' button. I can only guess they must all be PMing you to tell you how much they enjoy it.

Thanks David, yeah they picked it up in USA via a way that I havent and will not devulge on here, got to play your cards close and all that. I personally think your work on your site is terrible and not funny at all but I wouldnt just say it for the hell of it.... oh look I have just like you did to me, hope it feels nice getting the shit you just sent to me back! Ive got a thick skin made of mirrors mate so there you go! I only dig hanging out with positive people not sados who just want to put people down.Ive also spoken to tones of people who are established who I know in the biz and they do not know of this guide , I think its best I leave now since it is not where cool people reside & Its best to only send in the work you don't like so people like you can try to put people like me down. Well... It's not terribly constructive but I'll certainly take it on board.
If you take the time to look back you'll see I've never said anything negative about your work - that only exists in your listening. You might say I'm at fault for not addressing your material but then you've made it abundantly clear you're not interested in criticism and only want to hear from yes men (or women). I suspect that might not do you any favours down the line but who knows if you'll prove me wrong? Best of luck with it all anyway.
