Lol. Yep! And that other one. From the other thing.

Ah, this is the one I mean. https://www.comedy.co.uk/tv/ladies_and_gentlemen/

Ah, that's the one I never got around to watching. Maybe today...

I still count Goodnight Sweetheart, it was mainly set in the past. Learnt a lot about WWII from that.

Was All Along The Watchtower? or am I remembering it wrong?

No, it wasn't.

Clochemerle.

Get Well Soon.

Only Fools and Horses as it never appeared to leave the 80s.

How accurate was it? I learned more about and how to successfully do polygamy, specialising in multiple dimensional time warping thing.

Things like music, clothes, the way people lived, the events (some actual events were mentioned)

Maid Marian and Her Merry Men

The Hello Girls

Didn't they hang about with Noel Coward for a bit? I think I went off it around then. It got a bit silly.

It was still good, but it was best from series 1-3. Once 'bimbo' Yvonne joined it went a bit daft with all the New Labour shit.

Sounds about right. It would be nice to watch it again. But through new eyes or a remake. Don't think I'd be able to rewatch it though.

The DVDs are cheap enough now.

An episode of Roseanne was set in the 1950s; does that count?

And George Formby!
