I've had a breakthrough,

Super Snooper

Isn't it customary to have an idea for a novel first, then write it? :)

Not for me.

Ideas for MarcP's next novel,

Invasion of the working class tourists!

The who drank all the bloody whiskey mystery!

5 go mad in my back garden and get 2 barrells of buck shot up the backside!

I LIKE it! :D

Just been working on a scene for my sitcom which I've been dreading as it involves some drama and character development.

I quite like writing late at night. Shame I can only stay up this late whilst on holiday.

Trying, finally, to write a Radio sitcom. Going well so far.
If I don't duck out and convert it to a TV script in the end, I'll probably record the pilot to show around, rather than just hand in the script.

Just had the go-ahead on a re-write.
Consequently, got three things on the go at once.
Which is ever so slightly panic-making.

Congratulations! :)

My sitcom 'Red Sky at Night'

Is it about sheep shagging?

Sootyj is working on about 3 hugely unrealistic projcts that are probably going nowhere but keep him warm at night in his Walter Mitty wonderland.

But hey atleast some one's paying him for press releases, promotion and the occaisonal script.

Congratulations! :)

Yes, the (re)re-write was a nice surprise.
Everyone was very happy with the script, but then someone (Gawd bless'em) decided on a change of empasis in the story.
So, ker-ching.

just wrote a couple of sketches to send to newsrevue and now I am re-reading/improving a couple of short stories. Also had a idea for a sitcom a couple of days ago so walking around with a notepad jotting down ideas for pilot - hopefully get the pilot finished in time to send in to the beeb for their new call for sitcoms
