I hate Sky.
Quote: Alfred J Kipper @ September 2 2011, 10:21 AM BSTYes, Waddle resurrected his England career in France, didn't he. Maybe Cole's got this in mind. With easier teams to beat he could start to impress the England coach again. He's a pretty unique type of player, a bit of a Cascoigne type at his very best imo, a string puller sitting just behind the striker, but capable of scoring himself. That's where he should have been developed, not just stuck out on the wing!
Unfortunately he also resurrected his singing career in France as well: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CRuMoH0AXmM

Catskillz, just for you my friend... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkf8VtUyL8I
When Glen and Chris released their record why didn't they just call themselves Hoddle and Waddle. It would've been much more succesful.

It's this sitcom writing that's to blame. I go to YouTube a lot when doing research for my sitcom, and I go there when I'm taking a break from writing my sitcom. It's a Catch-22 situation, because I've always wanted to be a comedy writer, but I f**king hate writing. I used to be a DJ, and had a completely different lifestyle, so it's been hard having to adapt.
On the basis of tonight's result, I'm going to put £500 on England winning the next World Cup.

Not to hijack the footy thread, but, I spend hours researching for various bits and pieces and get nowhere except distracted and the only time I really spill stuff out (always) is when I just write. No internet, no DVDs, no trying to find loose leads, references or jumping off points, just writing.
I'll do more in ten minutes without distractions, than five hours of bouncing around from site to site. It's entertaining and all, but never productive.
I hate that new away kit.
Tuned in to Football Focus to see the highlights from last night only to be talked through the goals with stills. What a load of shit. F**k you Sky/FIFA. F**k. You.
Sorry to keep banging on about Anzhi Makhachkala (the over rich russian club) but this story is too good not to share.
Apparently they bid £76.2 Million for Hulk from Porto.
Mental money there.
Oh it gets better, apparently the terms were all sorted out and Hulk was about to move when Porto asked for MORE money and the talks ended. Talk about greedy.
