Recommend 1970s sitcoms please

Hi Everyone
This is my first post on the forums and was hoping to get some recommendations from people.
I'm 31 so don't remember too many sitcoms from the time but have in recent years really been enjoying them.

My favs are...

Man About The House
Bless This House
George & Mildred

If you have any recommendation that you feel I may like please list them.
Thanks so much :)

Hello Nitro,

If you haven't seen Porridge, watch that.

Thanks mate. I have seen that and love it too :)

Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em.

IN LOVING MEMORY (it's underated)
ARE YOU BEING SERVED?

Thanks guys. Great stuff will check these out. Keep them coming :)

Rising Damp
...And Mother Makes Three
Nearest And Dearest

Open All Hours (Ronnie Barker)
On The Buses (Reg Varney)
Only When I Laugh (James Bolam, Richard Wilson)
Terry & June/Happy Ever After (Terry Scott, June Whutfield)

Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads
The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin

Billy Liar is a more left-field suggestion.

Fawlty Towers

The Good Life.

Going by your list, have you seen Robin's Nest?

Bless Me, Father

- Yes agree with Robin's Nest (it's my personal favourite of the Man About House, George & Mildred, Robin's Nest trilogy)

- Dad's Army (Excellent. Series 3 onwards seem to be consistantly better to watch in my view.)

- Citizen Smith (dated in some ways but still funny and quality show)

- Rentaghost (if you like kids' shows/sitcoms)

- Mind Your Language (lot of play on words humour, I think it's very funny)

- To The Manor Born (quality show but perhaps not the number of laughs that some sitcoms give)

Another vote for On The Buses. And if you like that I'd recommend afterwards watching the spinoff Don't Drink The Water. I like ...And Mother Makes Three and the follow on ...And Mother Makes Five too.
