British Comedy Guide

What science fiction device would you like to try?

If you could choose just one ridiculous science fiction device, which would it be? Shrinking, enlarging yourself? Being invisible? Time travelling? Teleportation? Staying the same age forever? Morphing into an animal? Being indestructible? Having perfect grasp of every language ever known to man/woman?

I've decided against having x-ray specs set to cloth density strength, but only just, and gone for backwards time travel, myself. Always been a yearning of mine.

Yours? Please add any not listed above. Comic book powers accepted, it's all science fiction.

Definitely - Read minds, or hear what people are really thinking.

I would probably spend all day laughing at the contradictions.

Like; Oh you look lovely in that dress, it really suits you. (Mind) You fat cow, you look like a bag of rags.

Time travel

then I could hear the worlds best jokes go back in time and tell them as if they were my own.

Mu ha ha!

The Holodeck, what else could anyone possibly want?

and gone for backwards time travel

With no chance of return?

Reminds me of one of the new Futurama's where the keep going forward in time until everything resets itself. You'd have to do the same but in reverse. Let's hope that we're not in the first big bang.

But time travel does appeal. Especially going back to prehistoric times. It would be a different planet. It would be not to put it too lightly, awesome.

Not to mention being able to answer the important questions that nobody knows the answers too.

Kennedy, 9/11, Jesus, Evolution, the Sopranos Ending etc.

I would quite like Bernard's watch.

I would quite like Bernard's watch.

Did he ever go into the girl's changing rooms or look up their skirts? It was totally unrealistic that show.

The malfunctioning transporter on Star Trek which takes you to an evil parallel universe full of conniving vixens in skimpy skirts and leather thigh boots.

Time travel and invisibility so I could go back in time and moon at Jesus, hitler and other famous dead people. 'The Invisible Moon.'

What would be the point?

Still not getting it! Pleased

It would give me something to do and make me happy also.

Ok.

Eternal life. I don't like to think about all the great TV I'll miss because I'm dead.
