COMIC: Fishy
It looks great. Really polished. But is there a film/tv reference I'm not getting? The title has completely thrown me.

No I just couldn't think of a title when I did it. LOL! I'll prob change it for final thing.

but intro line is a little confusing. Maybe drop the reference to the market and make it DIY
Also squid aren't fish. Maybe if they were pirahnas?

Think your both right on title will drop it, and might do piranhas for the next one.
I think a great, big shark, gritting it's teeth to nibble on her toes could be good, positioned where the squid is.
Nice artwork though, at any rate.
End the first bubble at '...I bought you' we don't need to know where and when they got it and I think it would be better with piranhas and Mrs Newman holding her feet above the water looking petrified.
Open to other Newman comic ideas?

Yeh there are alot of variations that could do with it. The Big Shark is quite hard to draw though

I do like the squid btw, just think to make it more relevant to what they actually use in the fish pedicure piranhas would make more sense.

In a written sketch, pirhanas would work better, but in a cartoon, it would be difficult to make it obvious in a picture that the fish in the tank are piranhas rather than any other breed of fish. A squid is better visualy.
I think pirhanas would be too obvious, I like the squid, very cute.
