There is a restaurant here called the Wicker Man but it is only open once a year.
Useless facts. Page 9
Isn't it being rebranded the wicker'd man
Quote: Marc P @ August 23 2011, 3:17 PM BSTNobody goes to a European restaurant or a Southern American restaurant. Or a British restaurant. Not in Sheringham anyway.
There's an Indian restaurant down the road in Hunstanton and the owner had a picture of one of his top celebrity punters; Sky TV's Adam Bolton. Such is the star power pull of a day trip to Sunny Hunny.
I went to a German restaurant and waiter bought a plate with two dots on it.
But I ordered an omelette.
RE: 'Ketchup'
I've always known it as red sauce.
We dare not call it Ketchup in our house, my grandad was based in Malaya during the Second World War and he got the word from them, he was really looking forward to coming home and using it on us.
Sadly and unbeknownst to him it was already in common usage over here and when he was demobbed at Southampton docks he went into a local cafe for a Bacon butty and was asked if he wanted Ketchup on it?
He was so gutted to find this out that instead of going home he joined the French Foreign Legion instead and volunteered to go behind the lines to kill people with with a claw hammer, that's how much it affected him, true story!
Catsup.

Pff! It's a sissy gas planet, whereas we're solid and hard, like a clenched space fist.
It is all down to perspective.
