Didn't Bale assault his mom or sister when Dark Knight came out? He's a bit too self-consciously intense. Great actor, though.
They reported him for assault and got a restraining order. Erk.
I'm in a bit of a film trilogy mode at the moment. Maybe it's because the lack of long-running US TV dramas lately? I seem to have become accustomed to long story arcs.
