I absolutely love Miami Twice. It's my second favourite, behind Jolly Boys Outing. It's brilliant. Really, really different, but awesome.
Episodes you hate from Sitcoms you love! Page 2

Series'.
isn't is just "series"?
wouldn't "series'" mean "belonging to the series"?
The last three episodes of OFAH for me. Absolutely terrible - not funny and ruined the whole concept of Del becoming a millionaire. Loads of things wrong with them ie Delboy knowing everything about Freddie The Frog - and how they went to Margate together and called him "Uncle Freddie" but not having a clue who he was in earlier episodes. Also not a massive fan of the Pheonix nights episode were Max and Paddy become hit men - was a stupid storyline for an often realistic sitcom.
Most of the Only Fools and Horses Christmas specials.

I think that that would be series's. As in, "that series's viewing figures...". It's far too early in the morning to think about it.

They warned us before it was on, but I know what you mean. I've grown to love that episode, but it took a while.
Did they? I wasn't told. Are we talking about the one with the amulet, where Vince becomes the chosen one? If so I loved the Hitcher in that (malt loaf/yeah, I'll have a slice) and sandstorm planing the evil tree down to a dinner table. The art direction was a bit iffy tho - hang on, it had the soup song as well! "i am gazpacho, i am a summer soup!'
Yes they sent a warning letter to my home. It was lovely.
The Betamax Bandit! Ace.
In fact a scene in that episode (Vince being the chosen one and Howard being his slave) inspired a slash story written by a fan, which Noel read, and which later inspired the kissing in series 3.
Fascinating, eh?
No?
Oh.
Am I the only one who equates 'slash' stories with middle-aged, sexually frustrated women who are almost certainly a tad overweight?
Hmm.
I'll tell you when I am one.
I think slash is more the territory of 14 year old girls, in my experience.

You're kidding, I thought the whole Dog eating sequence was the funniest thing ever to be on television. I nearly had to ring an ambulance I was laughing that hard.
I hate any "clips" shows (the U.S. Sitcoms are more guilty than most.)
The Simpsons are the worst for it. It just seems so lazy. Friends are very bad for it. I think I've seen a Scrubs episode that did it. But you know what I mean, when the cast are supposed to be being nostalgic. F**king hate it.
The betamax bandit would seemed to have been suggested by the 'Betamax monk' in a poem by Miroslav Holub. And the 'coconut Lodge' from Milky Joe appears to be a reference to the 'Kürbs Hütte' or cucumber lodge- an informal Königsburg literary society from 17th century -so someone in the Boosh is a poetry buff. it can't be Noel as we know he's only interested in bright lights and soft fabrics.
Oh and the "horror" episode of Two Pints, not paticulary a huge fan (would seriously do Janet though.) but having lived in Widnes, really had to watch it.
Julian is a very intellectual dude, don'tyaknow.
They've been doing Betamax based stuff for years, but yes, I'm sure this Holub character could still be an influence.

I happened to watch that Scrubs episode last night (from season 6). I can truly say it was the worst episode ever - and I've loved almost every episode from season 1-5.
As to Friends...they did have a double episode of "what if?" events... I think it was called TOW Could Have Been. I thought it was very well done.
On the whole I must agree. Clip shows are by far the worst.
I don't think Frasier ever had an episode like this, though. Kudos to them for it, then.
More to the point - many shows meet the infamous "shark's fin" on the way, and it is easy to pick the last series/seasons or specials as least favourites or even despicable crap
I don't like first Blackadder series. Don't hate them... just don't like them at all.
Coupling had such significant drop of quality in the last series.
basically the whole series 8 and 9 of 'Allo 'Allo make me cringe.
Moonlighting had horrible episodes in the fourth and fifth season. I sure as hell won't be ordering the DVDs.
