That was the Aztecs in Mexico. That was another weird story, what with them predicting the exact day that "white Gods" would invade their land. They then supposedly allowed the Spanish to slaughter them all and pillage their gold. Who told them about it? Were they really slaughtered? Maybe they went underground as well?
Didn't the spanish bring over a disease that the Aztecs were not familiar with which killed loads of them.
Not sure. I know the Americans famously gave the Native Americans those germ-covered blankets.
