Kanu has always made me laugh.
When he first cam to the UK the commentators used his full name - Nwankwo Kanu with a silent 'w'. This was quickly dropped after a few people didn't silence the 'w'.

Another thing....
Arsene Wenger. I hate it when people talk about him being a genius because: a- he has built a 'young, promising team' and b- he was the first manager to make his players eat pasta.
Well, a- his young team haven't won a thing, so who cares about age? This season's Man Utd side has an average age of about 22...yet, they will undoubtedly win something.
And b- maybe Wenger should be a food science bod?
Arsene "I didn't see it" Wenger, who denys any wrongdoing by his players and highlights everything that goes against him.
The trajedy is some Arsenal fans acctually believe they were cheated against Newcastle, they need to get real and thank there lucky stars Song wasnt sent of 16 minutes before Joey Barton even raised a finger to Gervinho.
Since Wenger joined, Arsenal have had a very poor red card record. Remember Viera spitting, etc?
I'm enjoying Joey Barton's latest Twitter meltdown.
Despiter the fact he is completely mental and unscrupioulous I agree with most of what he is saying.
The only problem with me was his tweet where he had a go at a columist who wrote a colum in his favour just because the title was "Sypathy for the Devil."
Barton should know the title is just to attract readers and the content is what matters.
He is intelligent, but completely bonkers.
He posted philosophy quotes last night after the incident.
One was: 'Oh lord, make me pure. But not yet'.

My goodness, I would be so curious to see what would happen to him if he never became a footballer.
Well, Joey's half-brother is serving a prison sentence for involvement in the murder of Anthony Walker in Liverpool.
I still expect ferguson to make a move for him. He needs someone similar to Scholes to replace him.
Scholes wasn't a psycho, just useless at tackling.

Without a doubt he'll end up at Man Utd.....and be in an England squad soon after. It annoys me how a player can be excellent at a smaller club yet get ignored, but as soon as they are at a massive club they get picked. See: Smalling, Jones, Cleverly, etc.
What does Roger Johnson need to do to get into an England squad? He was brilliant at Birmingham and will be at Wolves.

He had enough f**king time to learn didn't he?
All the pundits made a joke about him being a bad tackler 'haha, he's so funny, haha' but a player at his level should be able to tackle. It taints his legacy.
Quote: Nil Putters @ August 13 2011, 7:13 PM BSTNo idea how Barton's stayed on after that, maybe we can steal a winner now.
I've gone with an alternative theory on Joey Barton's 'violence'. Thought-provoking:
