Well as long as you admit it. :)

That said, I stick by my original point, pop's always used sex to sell, whether it be Robert Palmer, Pan's People, Madonna, Sinitta or Rhianna.

I'm hoping Lee had a good time looking for those pictures to prove me wrong, but I think they reinforce my opinion that if you have talent you don't need to flaunt your boobs. But if you've got more boobs than talent, expect some flack from me.

But that's what the entire BCG is built on! Commenting without any knowledge on the topic!

Laughing out loud

That said, WATCH A FUCKING MUSIC CHANNEL AND THEN GET BACK TO US.
:)

If Chip watches a music channel we might never see him again.

Well to be fair I didn't prove you wrong, with the exception of Pink all the other performers you mentioned hardly ever flop 'em out. So you were right. For what it's worth my favourite female performer at the moment is Janelle Monae who is a genuine talent, and she keeps her knockers very close to her chest. As it were.

For all my flippancy I do agree with you. Too much tit and fanny in the pop business these days. Mind you, Legs & Co were as bad with their legs akimbo and sparkly gussets all on show and that was WAY back in the day.

Sex sells pop, it's just the way it is, sadly. But I'm being two-faced because Beyonce's arse is a work of black magic and I'd be f**king gutted if she started covering it up.

I have bought her albunm off itunes, haven't Googled any pics, so will judge on her ability only, and will let you know tomorrow.

I just think it's a shame that so many talented females have to expose flesh to get famous. I love JLS and would still buy their records if Ashton stopped doing back flips, but if Marvin left, I'd be proper gutted.

Archandroid's a highly-eclectic album with more bad points than good, but the good points are SO good that it doesn't really matter. She's a huge star in the making. :)

I understand the issue with the influence someone like Beyond Sea might have over kids and teens. But surely you're all good parents who can show your kids the greater things in life, bigger aspirations and things that have more significance then a pop singer?

On the other hand...

Yep. And one of the ways I'll do that is by not letting them watch music channels.

It's not like it used to be but I grew up watching VH1. You try masturbating over Phil Collins. Give me Bouncee any day.

Nah, not really. I won't restrict music channels from my kids though. You're only going to encourage some sort of rebellion and then get thme listening to even worse music. There's nothing worse then pop music pretending not to be pop music (e.g all that millennium American metal/punk shit). But I digress.
