Sorry, I'll get on it. Big police presence in this area of Hackney, wonder if it'll actually encourage people once they've had a few Friday drinks
Yeah, I always wondered how long they can afford to flood the streets with police. The rioters can always wait til police numbers do back to pre-riot numbers, then they're free to kick off again.
I think the large number of arrests will have taken some of the wind out of their sails.

Watching all the analyses on the riots, we must not get carried away with our emotions and listen to people who have studied these kids' problems like Professor Duff of Cambridge University, author of 'Crowd Control Psychology' and Sally Barnes Community worker from Lambeth.
They both came to the same conclusion: Cut off their goolies!

RE: Scouse. Yes, that's it. Modern Scouse. TBH I thought the Beatles were toning it down for the worldwide audience but if that was what it used to sound like, much better/softer on the ears.
